Dr. Kendra MacPherson was born and raised in Lethbridge and received her Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Lethbridge. She then attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After obtaining her license, Dr. Kendra worked in a busy emergency practice near Calgary. She has now returned home to Lethbridge and continues honing her skills in emergency medicine and critical care. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, dental surgery, and soft tissue surgeries. Although she primarily works with dogs and cats but does also enjoy working with exotic pets, such as reptiles. She regularly attends professional conferences to improve her medical and surgical skills and to keep current with advances in medicine. While away from the clinic, Dr. Kendra and her husband are often on travel adventures with their English Setter, Bree. They enjoy hiking in the mountains, snowshoeing, and playing board games. The MacPhersons also have three rescue cats, Steve, Emma and Grace. It is a little known fact that Dr. Kendra is a talented watercolour artist, painting landscapes and pet portraits.
