Dr. Thomas grew up in a farming community surrounded by animals—cows, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and of course, pets. Their presence and companionship likely shaped his future from an early age. He started his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Zoology, at Mahatma Gandhi University in India. After completing his degree, he was accepted into the Veterinary Medical program and graduated in 2013.

Shortly after graduation, Dr. Thomas began his career as a mixed animal practitioner but soon developed a strong interest in small animal and avian medicine. He practiced avian and small animal medicine in the Middle East, specializing in birds of prey, for a few years before making Canada his forever home.

His current practice focuses on emergency medicine and surgery, with a special interest in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. Thomas has been practicing in Alberta since 2018 after obtaining his veterinary license, and he has come to love the people and nature here. Recently, he moved to Lethbridge, where he lives with his wonderful wife, who is also a veterinarian. They share their home with their daughter and two sweet cats, Zeke and Heidy, who are always ready to take care of them after a long day.
