He started out as a part time assistant on weekends and then moved to full time after graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a BSc in Biochemistry. As the current Assistant Manager, Duncan is pivotal to the hospital running smoothly. He brings with him over nine years of experience and understanding of day to day operations in all areas of the hospital. From the moment a patient arrives, Duncan’s commitment to teamwork ensures that the experience you have at Family Pet is a positive one. While he usually works from behind the scenes, he can occasionally be found on the clinic floor, returning to his roots While not at the hospital, Duncan enjoys spending time in the mountains camping, hiking, fishing, and kayaking. His love for animals led him to adopt HWY and Emmy, two cats both needing their front left leg amputated at time of rescue for various reasons. He also has a very spoiled Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Pickle who often joins Duncan at work and shares his love of the outdoors
