Assistant

Linda

Linda's love for animals began at a young age, and she knew early on that she wanted a career focused in animal care.

Growing up on a family farm in southern Alberta meant that Linda was surrounded by a large variety of animals, including rabbits, chickens, horses, sheep, cows, cats, dogs and even a fawn at one time! There was always someone that needed her care and attention!

Linda's first job out of high school was at a mixed animal practice in Fort Macleod, where she grew her knowledge of animals and gained confidence in her abilities as a veterinary assistant. After five years there, Linda took some time off to focus on her family. A few years later she missed the busyness and fulfillment of her job as assistant, and so she joined the FPH family in 2022.

Linda currently lives in Lethbridge with her husband, 1.5 year old son, and two cocker spaniels. When not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and going kayaking in the Rockies. Linda is also a talented artist and always has a project on the go, whether it is a mural or a pyrography piece! Her other passion, aside from animals and art, is travelling and exploring new places. She especially enjoys trying the cuisines unique to each country, even if it pushes her out of her comfort zone!

Linda looks forward to meeting you and your pets, and promises to provide the best care possible!
