Mikayla

Mikayla has been with Family Pet Hospital since February 2022. Mikayla doesn't remember a time in her life when her family didn’t have pets. Surrounded by horses, dogs, and cats, her love for animals began at an early age.

Mikayla graduated from the Vet Assistant course from Olds College in 2021, and joined the Family Pet Hospital team. She is currently enrolled with Penn Foster to become a Veterinary Technician since 2023.

Working in emergency medicine is incredibly rewarding for Mikayla, she enjoys learning new things every day.  Mikayla excels at detailed care, especially surgery and anesthesia.

At home, Mikayla enjoys relaxing with her loved ones, hiking, and reading. She has a sassy four-year-old rescue kitty named Nala who keeps her busy.
