Hello, my name is Shaun, throughout my life animals have always been there somewhere.  Along this adventure of life, I have had the opportunity to work as an animal care/life support team member in a large aquarium facility and really found a passion for the animal healthcare world.  This path has been a long and winding road but has led me to find myself with the opportunity to be a part of the team at Family Pet Hospital, where I have found a real love of emergency pet medicine!  As a veterinary assistant one of my favorite parts of the job is checking on all the patients and ensuring they are comfortable and giving them the cuddles and scratches they need.  Animal rescue and training are also keen interests so the more challenging or misunderstood patients are ones that I look forward to the most.

     From Cats and dogs to penguins and chameleons, I love all the different animals and am always excited to get to meet someone new and be a part of their time healing and getting back home to their family!
