Shaun has always had animals as a constant presence in his life. His journey into animal healthcare began with his role as an animal care and life support team member at a large aquarium facility, where he discovered his passion for animal care. After a long and winding road, Shaun found himself joining the team at Family Pet Hospital, where he developed a strong love for emergency pet medicine.

As a veterinary assistant, one of Shaun's favorite parts of the job is checking in on all the patients to ensure they are comfortable, offering cuddles and scratches to help them feel at ease. His interests also include animal rescue and training, particularly with more challenging or misunderstood patients, which he finds especially rewarding.

From cats and dogs to penguins and chameleons, Shaun loves all kinds of animals and is always excited to meet new ones, being a part of their healing journey and getting them back home to their families.
