Stefanie Reeve

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” ― Anatole France

Stefanie’s embrace of farm life has led the way to her rewarding career helping animals. Raised in Barrhead, Alberta, her family’s involvement in the swine industry while raising chickens, sheep and goats, cows and her horse Tony, taught Stefanie about animal husbandry. She took her interest towards animal health by filling her after school hours volunteering at the Barrhead Veterinary Clinic. In 2003, Stefanie graduated with honors from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s Animal Health Program. With 16 years of experience in emergency and critical care medicine, Stefanie is a valued member of the Family Pet team. With a strong interest in anesthesia, she works closely with doctors to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostics and give every patient the best bedside attention while in our care. Stefanie understands how much your pet means to you and is touched reuniting patients on the mend back into the arms of their families.

Stefanie lives to be outdoors with some impressive hikes in her roster: Waterton’s Crypt Lake and Vimy Ridge, Arizona’s Havasupi Falls, Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Her biggest life achievement is her son Aiden, with no greater joy than being a Mom, and a soccer Mom at that! Completing the family is a French Bulldog “Harlow” and a Boston Terrier “Hiro.”
