Tara’s love for animals started at a young age. For as long as she could remember she was always surrounded by them and wouldn’t have it any other ways. Animals were always a way to escape reality for a little while when life began to get rough. As Tara got older her passion for animals began to grow. Tara joined the Family Pet hospital team in July as a veterinary assistant wanting to help animals in any way that she could. This provided Tara with the opportunity to get her foot in the door and explore a new chapter in her life.

Tara enjoys being outdoors when she isn’t at work. There is never a time that she would pass up an opportunity to explore something new. If Tara isn’t out climbing a mountain and enjoying the fresh air, she is at home with her cat Goose. There is never a dull moment with this bundle of energy. Although he may test Tara’s patience sometimes, she wouldn’t give him up for the world. Goose adds a type a joy that could never be replace and Tara is forever thankful for his spunky attitude.

She looks forward to many great years at Family Pet Hospital, we are so happy to welcome her to our team!

“Animals are like little angels sent to earth to teach us how to love. They don't get angry or play silly games. They are always there for us.” – Whitney Mandel
